The Interparliamentary Conference on Stability, Economic Coordination and Governance in the European Union is a forum for debate and exchange of information and best practices in relation to the implementation of the Treaty on Stability, Coordination and Governance in the Economic and Monetary Union.
The conference aims to strengthen the cooperation among national parliaments and the European Parliament, as well as to enhance the democratic accountability of governance in the field of economic and budgetary policies of the EU, especially in respect to the Economic and Monetary Union, taking into account its social aspects and without prejudice to the competences of national parliaments.
The Conference is co-organized and co-chaired by the European Parliament and the National Assembly of Bulgaria and hosted by the European Parliament in Brussels.
