The National Assembly hosted a study visit of officials from the Romanian Parliament's administration

At the invitation of the Secretary General of the National Assembly, Stefana Karaslavova, a delegation from the Romanian Parliament's administration, led by Deputy Secretary General of the Romanian Parliament, George Dumitricã, was on a study visit to Bulgaria on the forthcoming Parliamentary dimension of the Romanian Presidency in 2019.

"Preparation and Implementation of the Parliamentary Dimension of the Presidency of the Council of the EU - Bulgarian Experience" was the topic of the working meeting of representatives of the administrations of the two legislative institutions. Speakers at the meeting were the Secretary General Stefana Karaslavova, the Parliamentary Dimension Coordinator Dr. Mladen Lambeff, the Director of Information and Communication Systems Directorate Vladimir Doytchinov , the Head of Public Procurement Department Savka Andonova and the State expert at the International Relations, Protocol and Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU Directorate Desislava Nakova. They discussed different aspects of the organization and implementation of the parliamentary dimension events.  The National Assembly and its administration are ready to share experience and support their Romanian colleagues on all issues related to the organization of the events of the parliamentary dimension of the Council of the EU presidency, assured the participants Stefana Karaslavova, Secretary General of the Bulgarian Parliament.

During the visit the members of the delegation attended the Meeting of the Chairpersons of the Energy Committees of the Parliaments of the European Union organized within the Parliamentary Dimension of the Bulgarian Presidency. They made a tour of the building of the National Assembly.
